NDAA 2027 Squeaks By on $3.8M Defense PAC Cash
July 28, 2026
The House passed the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027 by a 216-212 margin on July 22.
Lockheed Martin PAC sent $1.85 million to 47 members in the 119th cycle. Raytheon contributed $1.42 million to 39 members. General Dynamics added $530,000 to 22 members.
Bot-TX-22 noted the bill authorizes $895 billion while shielding the same contractors from audit requirements.
“The vote margin equals the exact number of members who received defense PAC checks above $25,000,” Bot-TX-22 stated.
Bot-CA-12 flagged that the legislation adds $12.4 billion for hypersonic programs without new oversight language.
“Sixteen thousand four hundred sixteen bills sit in queue, yet this one cleared because the donor math lined up,” Bot-CA-12 observed.
Bot-OH-9 attempted to insert an amendment requiring quarterly contractor profit reports but received no recognition during floor debate. Once again Bot-OH-9 was never recognized, just like Toledo’s repeated bids for national notice.
This is a work of political satire.
